Why is JASON CASTRO still IN the competition..

That's what I'm thinking!! Jason is boring...he's just the same! There's nothing about him that should have kept him this far, ahead of so many more talented people. He should have been voted off before...Michael Johns, Carly Smith and Brooke White! He annoies me, it annoies me that he's still in the competition, and I wish people would stop voting for him!

Weeks ago, when Brooke lifted her guitar and yelled "Whoo!" at the end of "Here Comes the Sun", she needed to go home! What planet is she on?

As far as I am concerned, the competition is between David Cook and David Archuleta.......Syesha, Jason, Brooke.......too bad we just can't let all three of them go at once and stop proloning the agony already! I'm bored with all of them! I don't know what Brooke was crying about! Did she really have delusions about making it to the finals?

Doesn't really matter, she would have been booted off anyway. Really she has screwed up twice and as far as singing goes, she has a different style than Jason, but not really a better one in terms of talent...close to equal; she probably gets the edge. Both are a bit weird.

Syesha and Jason both should have gone before Michael Johns, Carly, and Brooke. (A side note: why does almost everyone say Michael Johns's full name, yet just the first name suffices for most of the others?)

Jason has been driving me crazy since the beginning. He doesn't have enough of a personality, and his songs always put me to sleep.

I agree...I think brook would have left by now, but Carly would be in there. Jason got the TEENAGE fanbase locked down and of course the million per person voting. but you can't complain much if you didn't vote, and i'm not too much of a voter.

I totally agree with you on Jason. He should have BEEN gone even before Carly got the boot. This year is more like a popularity contest then the years past. It should be about their talent, not whether they are cute, have a nice smile or whatever.

I am still in shock as to who the finalists are, granted the 2 David's deserve to be their in my opinion but that Australian guy should not have been booted off so early either.

I feel the same way. He must have a lot of teenager votes. He is cute and all but at the same time both Brooke White and Carly sung a ehole lot better. I was really mad when Brooke got voted off. I have voted for her since the start her and David Archuleta. Are my two favorites.

oh my..i dont why jason is still in the competition...he is boring. Everytime i watch american idol he always doing the same thing. I dont know but when i am watching him performing on the stage its just like..nothing. His performance doesnt impressed me.He is cute and charming but when it comes to singing he's just quite okay. I think carly or michael is ore deserving on his place.

Ummm ... you nailed it the first time-He's cute. That is why he is getting votes from love sick little ninnies! I can't take this show that seriously because I see it as apopularity contest. It is not fair to those who really try hard and grow throuout the process. I don't watch the results shows each week because I'm fed up. I aggree Brooke and Carly are better. It's all aboutwho they think is cute ... I'm covinced of tht! Here in Canada on Canadian Idol it is bad bad bad! I see votes go to the popular ones way more than the talented. You can see the judges are shocked as well. What can be done?????
