Gas or Electric Weed Eater?

Do you prefer a gas or electric weed eater? I know that the gas ones are
much nicer and more convient.But for me they are real hard to start.So I
have to buy the electric ones.They also work real good, you just have to
have the long outdoor extension cord.My yard is not real big, so it is no
big deal.

We just bought an electric one today, its much easier, no string to pull and no bumping the bottom on the ground to move the string. So far so good.

Well I love the electric one.They are just as good as the gas ones.No yanking on that cord to get it started.Good luck with yours.

The gas usually gives hard start, I have always used the gas ones, but once you get them going they do a good job.
The electric ones are cleaner to use,but I was told they are not as powerful as the gas ones.

I did have a gas one, but I could never get it started. You are right, once they are started they do a great job. They may be more powerful, but to me a electric one gets the job done.
