Beans... how we use them in our cooking and how we like to eat them?

I am wondering what beans people in myLot use in their cooking and how they are prepared? I have used canned garbonzo beans in making hummus which I serve with pita bread, and have also used them in other dishes with rice and tomato sause. I love baked beans and have even had baked beans and miracle whip as a filling for sandwiches... something my mother invented. I also have sprouted mung beans and have used them for stir fries with tofu and other veggies. What beans do you use? How do you prepare them? What do you serve them with?
