Trading Christ | | Many people are jumping on to the religion bandwagon supposidly preaching the Gospel. What most of them are actually trying to do is make a fast buck off the good Lord!People in India (where I live) for instance, are mostly converts. These people have converted to Christianity for some material need. Some, for food, some for housing but few, very few, for the love of Christ. The Methodist and Protestant Church in India has been taken over by people converted to Christianity. These people are selling church property and pocketing the cash. Not even a tenth of the proceeds from the sale of the property (which according to Indian Law) is illegal goes to the Church. Church property just cannot be sold or leased out. It may be rented or leased on a short term basis to Christians only. If a property is sold for 10 million the sales deed will ony show 80,000. I have with me documents that can prove that the converts are selling Christian property at market rates but giving the church a pittance. They are even selling graveyards to real estate developers. We need some help and assistance to stop this madness. Someone, anyone, please help in bringing this to the notice of the Church authorities in th US and the UK. These authorities are funding these fraudulent priests and Bishops in India. Who after getting rich leave the country and take up asylum in the US and UK claiming a threat to their lives and the lives of their family by Hindu fundamentalist organizations because of their supposed activities in converting Hindus to Christianity. The latest sale is going to the the Sattal Estate in Bhimtal (over 500 acres) in the mountains India. The price being bargained is Indian Rupees 80 Billion. The sales deed drawn up is just 4 million. Money is transfered to bank accounts abroad and a pittance is transfered to the church account. Someone please help us stop this!!!!There are 'priests' in India who apply for grants to go preach the Gospel ---- In Africa, Maldives, Phillipines, Egypt!!!!! Why not in India where there are so many people who do not know the Lord??? When a priest is ordained (on the Internet no where else) his first goal is a trip abroad!!! He then seeks financial aid from gullible people in the countries he visits for the "poor" christians in India. There is only one place the money is going and you know what I mean.

I think the only way this can be stopped is if the authorities look into the grievances of those who convert; the ones who convert because they are poor/abused because of the caste system. Unless these problems are looked into by the authorities, the Christian evangelists will go on converting povertystricken people and make tons of money while at it.

I really feel they r infact a bad remark on christianity and they r trading christ. If people r to blame, they just show us look how ur so-called Godly christinas r eating away money. I have to just be in a state of silence due to some thoughtless people...

They dont even know the meaning of the word Reverend (Rev) and Bishop. they simply add these in fornt of their name, which is actually like a slap to the faces of the ordained Preists and Bishops. And like u mentioned they have converted to protestants!!!!
