oh it really depends on what you will need the most sincere. i wanted to try learning french, just because i love the sound of it. however, i better learn chinese because i married into a chinese family and they really speak chinese at home. but so far, i still haven't got to learning how to really converse. lol

anyway, it really depends on what you need. where you will work, or who are the people that you will interact with the most. etc...good for you that you have the opportunity to learn.

good day!

Well, I can't pinpoint one certain foreign language for you to learn and master. I guess it really depends on you. To be honest, I don't know and haven't checked where you're from.
I'd like to share some things with you and I hope you'll get something out of this. First, about Spanish language: I'm from the Philippines and the Spanish language was formerly included in the curriculum of the college students here in our country; mainly because the Spaniards were one of those who colonized us. But this subject was thought about more than two decades ago.
Second, some of my friends and relatives told me that it's good to learn French. But I thought otherwise. I have nothing against the language nor the people; but I just know that if I'm not going to use it; either to teach it or speak it, what use would it have for me in my life?!
Personally, I'm trying to learn Mandarin for the main reason that I'm planning to work in another Asian country. Hopefully, I'd be fluent enough in the language before I leave our country.
Anyway, I also do hope that you'll know sooner or later as to what language you'll want to learn. Good luck and God bless always.

thanks for share your thought with me about language .
But some times I get interested in some language due to their writings and culture .
Actually I thought about spanish, because its language of so many developed country and I have to go in IT sector.

But I think, if I am not wishing to go outside of india then french will be better option for me, in term of interest and continuing .....isn't it?

hmm, I really think that it will entirely depend on your needs and interest. If you think that let say spanish is the language that will be a big advantage to the career that you wanted then you must learn that foreign language. Also, it is important for you to have an interest to the language that you wanted to learn. So that, you'll not be bored by it and you'll learn it faster. Well, you see, I'm really fascinated with Japanese culture and anime, so because of that I studied Japanese, though I'm not fluent with it, but I know at least basic nihonggo. But I'm planning to master it and learn more of their language someday, hopefully XD. Somehow,in my experience, I easily learned it and become more and more interested by it. So I think try to know more of yourself, try to ask what language you think is more important and what foreign language interest you more. Although, any language you'll decided to learn will really help you in the future. Being a linguistic or at least fluent in one foreign language is a big advantage.:D

Yes you are right .
One of my old sir also used to say me same thing . If I am interested in any language then it will be better and easy to learn .
Japanese is also good to learn today, but this is some thing different from others....isn't it?
One of my friend is learning ...and he said me ...grammer is similar to hindi ....

thanks!!!

It depends on your interest. Your friend suggest you to learn French because French vocabulary is similar to English vocabulary. It is easy for you to remember the words and phrases. But I have learned from on book that Germeny and English are in the same language family. They relates each other more closer than French and English. But I suggest you to choose according to your interest because iterest is the best teacher. No language is easy to learn. I have learn Janpanse for more than one year.I like it though I have many difficulties in learning it.

It really depends on what will suit you best - some people find one language easier to learn than another and this may be the case with yourself too - why not get some books on each of the languages you may be interested in and then try learning just a few phrases from each - that way you'll be able to see which feels best to you and which you personally feel sounds easier to learn rather than just doing one because other people say it it's best! Good luck and have fun!

I think if you live in the US that Spanish would be a very useful language. We have a high percentage of Spanish speaking people living in the U.S.

well according to me, none of the foreign languages would help u build a carrer in IT.
but if u want to learn a foreign language out of keen interest i suggest u learn french because from what i have heard is the language most widely spoken throughout the world after english is french.
so that would be a good option..

myLot reputation of 88/100. sincere4frdship (772)   ranked 346 out of 3,305 in student  3 months ago

Thanks for giving me advice regarding the IT .

Yes I am interested in french and this is due to their culture and poetic tune ...
