California teen gives birth in shower, walks to hospital

OH! I saw this and my own daughter is due in 7 weeks and, since it is her first litle one, even thugh she's 24 and married, she's a bit nervous? I showed her this article and she was actually relieved by this girl's strength and is now a bit less nervous abut giving birth. Like she said, "Hey..if a 17 year old can do this and then walk to the hospital..I can do it!" (Took inspiration from this girl.)
If I were a parent and this happened, I would get immediately to the hospital, look my daughter and the baby over from head to toe and give big hugs and be glad they are both OK! Then I would find a way to get phone service! JEESE! I would take them home and pamper them and be more attentive to my daughter and help her understand that we needed better communiction and..go from there!
Thank goodness she and the baby are healthy and alright! It could have gone diffrently! The lives of this young lady and this baby and their futures are the most important things here!

She is very strong to jogged going to hospital, and I admire her courage because she choose to save the baby's life although at first she wants to hide the pregnancy. Thank God they are both safe.
