Stolen from my Yard today..

people just don't care, my grandmother used to say that people would steal your false teeth if you took them out of your mouth in front of them.

Wow, I'm sorry this happened to you, but isn't it possible that there was a new trashman today and they didn't realize it wasn't trash? If there were no flowers growing on it yet, maybe they didn't realize that's what it was.

I obviously don't know how you had it set up and maybe there's no way someone WOULDN'T know it was a permanent fixture, just trying to look at it another way.

I'll bet it was really pretty, and again, I'm sorry this happened.

Kitty that is terrible, people will steal anything these days even if it is tied down.
Maybe is wasn't the trashmen, because they would be used to it being there for your flowers.

My uncle had his birdbath stolen, so he bought a new.
With this one he dug a big hole, filled it with concrete and concreted the birdbath to it.
Didn't work, not only did the person take the birdbath, they took the entire concrete slab.
How's that for someone desperate for a birdbath, taking the concrete slab also.

Makes thing hard sometimes, you think why bother some one will come in and take it when my back is turned.

Oh Rosekitty what a horrible thing to have happen. Maybe the trash men took it if at that moment in time nothing was growing up it, but difficult to prove or maybe they did take it as they liked it so much. Sorry for your loss. People do this unfortunately it is a sad fact of life. I am sure your flowers will look beautiful whatever they are growing up. Ellie :D

Makes you wonder what else they have taken over their lifetime?? Too bad Rose, maybe you can think of something else to put their for the morning glories to grow on - maybe your Maypole??!!!!

Oh Rosie, I am so sorry to hear that. It's so sad when someone comes and takes what they want. But you know Lexa did have a good idea. MayPole?? Hummmm....

I am so sorry rosekitty that this happened to you. Maybe the garbage men came and thought you had thrown it out. Why not call the city and find out if they took it?

you know so many people will steal stuff like that, and it may not have been the trash men, but with scrap metal prices going through the roof, I have to say it doesn't surprise me that it did get stolen.

I hope you find it, or find something suitable for your flower bed.
