American Idol - who's going home 5/7/08

I agree wiht Simon. Time for the guy last nght that played the guitar and sat on the stool (Is that jason?) to pack up and head out. Frankly..at this stage I was not impressed wiht any of last night's performances. None of them are good enough this year.

I totally agree with you Dawnald. I also think Jason should have been sent home weeks ago. There were better contestants than him. His "cuteness" can only go so far and I hope that America has better taste in music.

If he doesn't go home this time, you can audition for the next Idol season. rotfl

I am not so sure that jason will be going home although he didnot sings very well in Top 4. Syesha had been struggling with votes from her fans. So if Jason fans vothe for him like crazy and Brooke fans vote also for Jason, syesha might ne going home.

I have to agree with you on everything you just said. I couldn't say it any better. I think David Cook should win it. He is very talented. David Archuletta is still young, he can make it on his own I think anyway.

I totally agree! I can't believe he's still there. At the beginning I didn't think he would get through the first few weeks but yet he's still around. I don't know if it's the dreads being something new and different that is keeping the girls interested or what. It's way past his time to go!

Of course, this is the week when some of the shockers have come and someone was voted off that people thought would be in the final two. I guess we'll see if history repeats itself.

Oh he so needs to go. My mom calls me at the end of like ever elemination show and says can you believe they kept nim instead of whoever they kicked off that week! She says if he's not kicked off tonight its so wrong and she doesn't think she'll watch the show anymore.

I think Jason is adorable, but his singing isn't at the level it should be to be this far in the competition.
I am not really a fan of Syesha, but the last two weeks I think she has actually been singing well and performing well. I think David A. has a great voice, but I find him incredibly boring. I think I probably like David Cook the most, but I'm a rock fan in general=)

while reading your discussion and reading the responses i miss michael johns. it would be a cool idol season if michael johns and david cook was the one left to be choosen as the idol. david archuleta is young and far to be compared if they will be the remaining two. jason and syesha needs to take a rest. i agree with you that carly and michael are no longer in the competition but syesha and jason are still in.

Jason is a folk singer and he pulled it off pretty well. He is a good singer and even if this is his last night he has exposure and i bet he will go far, he is a unique talent

I definitely agree that Jason should be going home! He is 1 of the 3 people I thought out-longed their stay in American Idol (the other 2 are Brooke and Syesha). But I noticed that Syesha is getting better and better these past few weeks, much better than Jason anyhow. Jason just gets worse everyday. He doesn't sing that well, and I personally don't even think he's cute with that goofy and care-free personality. Too bad I can't help with the vote. I'll be really disappointed if he doesn't go home.
