How often do you and your family eat out? Do you get to go out often? Every night? 2 or 3 times a week? once a week? Once a month?
How often do you get to eat away from home? This can be at a fast food place or a nice restaurant, whatever eating away from home means for you.
We are lucky if we get to do this twice a month. When we do it's usually KFC or McD's although when we manage to have enough extra money we will go to chinese food occasionally.

Are you kidding? Wiht the price of gas..two sons in college and the cost of food going way up? Who can afford now to eat out anymore. We have great meals..but we make them here at home.
Eating out IS out for us now.

I understand this completely. There were several months that we could not go out to eat and we missed it. Now we are beginning to get back on our feet and have been able to go out a couple of times over the last month. It felt nice to just let someone else do the work and have the change of pace. But we still won't be able to do it very often.

We normally go out to eat at least once a week. We have ti set in our budget to do so. Typically when we go out we actually go to a restaurant. We don't eat fast food - unless you could Quiznos or Subway as fast food.

Hello, sisterjinx! On very rare occasion i go out for eating meals.i don't like restaurant meals as these foods are not prepared with adequate care.from the nutritional aspect nothing can replace freshly cooked balanced wholesome meals.eating out means you invite all sorts of problems for your health.the restaurant foods or the foods prepared at fast food centers are rich in saturated fats and easily absorbed carbohydrates which contribute to obesity.regular consumption of these foods lead to chronic constipation.so i have no preference for these foods.thanx.

We used to eat out a couple times a week but now since food and gas prices have risen so high we can't afford to go out to eat. I make meals that can be eaten for several days to help save on monee. I love KFC but it is really expensive.

Oh, too bad so sad. Same as you. I don't have the extra money for the luxury of eating out. Usually it's McD or BK if I do go out.
But, that's okay because I had other times in my life when I did eat at restaurants frequently.
You know what? Just like everything else, you get tired of it. After awhile the fun wears off and you end up not being able to think of one restaurant where you would like to eat!

Oh I don't know I have found a favorite restaurant in every place I have ever lived. I don't get the opportunity to grow sick of it because I cannot go very often. lol
But I can live without it when I have to as well and most of the time I have to live without that little luxury.

We probably eat out 2 - 3 meals a week (plus I eat out for lunch a lot). Sometimes it's fast food and sometimes it's coffee shop type places. Once in a while we go somewhere nicer. I do try to cook dinner at least 4 times a week but sometimes it just gets hectic...

I used to eat out way to much as it seems so much easier when you got kids. But money is tight so we have had to cut back on going out to eat now.
