 Personally, I love this movie. I know that several people say that it is overrated, but I must disagree. I think that the movie is far more inspirational than the book it is based on, and it just seems like a feel-good movie to me- even with the fairly sad ending.

I am a real fan of how it follows him from start to realtive finish because that's not something that happens a lot in movies anymore, at least not any I've seen. When The Hobbit movie comes out, that will be the first in a long time with that ending. At any rate, it just makes people who watch it fall for it, and not in the funny sense, even though Forrest is pretty stinkin' funny at times. Especially the scene with Johnson:)

I like everything abot it, the comedy, love story and drama.
Its a good comedy without stunts and slopsticks.
A love story that is not mushy.
A drama that is not dragging.
It is a feel good moveie. No matter how many times i watch it, i still feel the same.
