For those that have kids. Do you capture their imagination?

If you've got ninos, do you watch them and capture their imagination? My kids little minds are always working and I try to capture what they think about and write it down or even ask them where they got such genius. My daughter lines her dolls up on the bed and takes the remote and uses it as a camera. Where do they get this stuff. It gave me an idea to create a TV remote that has a camera in it so you can post pics on your TV, maybe even a receiver that shows your reaction during a movie, i.e. scared, sad, happy. Anyway, I digress.

Last Christmas we got our 2 older kids (11 and 7) digital cameras. I love seeing the pictures. They are truly from a kids point of view. We load there pics on the computer once in a while and I am secretly creating a scrapbook for each of them. I will give them there scrapbook for there 18th birthday. They will receive 3 scrapbooks when they turn 18. The faimly days one, school days one, and the "your pics one". they know only about the family days one because they help me do it.

Sounds like a super idea. I'm sure they will love it and the memories will come flooding back when they see the pics and hear the stories behind them. You deserve the super mom award!

Well I don't know about super mom award but thanks for the thought! I already love looking back on the photos. They take pictures of things that adults don't think to. I have used a few of there pics in all the scrapbooks.
