Yes i have two nicknames. One is when i was in elementary, my friend called my hikaru sido, because my hairstyle was the same like hikaru sido in anime 'magic knight rayearth'... hehe... my close friends also erin and pricillia looked similar to the friends of hikaru, so they are the other two character in 'mkr', erin is the one with short hairstyle, and pricillia was the one who is tall and has long hairstyle.
When i was in highschool, my classmates call me man~mon... dont know why they called me like that. At that time, digital monster or digimon and pokemon were popular... all classmates has name with suffix ~mon, like nancy=nan~mon... boti=botimon... lol.

i have more than 3 nick names. my father gave me 2 nick names while my bf has also given me another nickname aside from endearment

My husband calls me sweetie. My best friend calls me bean. It is shortened from a name she used for me when we were small. she used to call me joleney beaney. then as we got older it got shortened to bean. my other best friend and my sister call me joey.

For my name Elizabeth, there are TONS and I mean TONS of variations of it. I used to be called Liz a lot, I hated it. I don't know why. A friend used to call me Buffy, which is another variation of my name. I hated that too. Lisa was the name I was known as in high school. I prefer to be called Bella, it's pretty and it's the one name I like.

Yes. It is normal in our country to have nicknames. IF you dont have a nickname, it's kinda weird. hehehe. My girl friends call ma euge (or huge) while my boy friends call me geene for a girly approach. While my uncle calls me hulk and my dad calls me bata. my brother calls me saging and the rest of the family call me ging ging :)
