 the fairy tale with a hero and everything in its place or where there isnt a hero just victums and the good guy loses?
i noticed lately alot of movies are ending like that and i love the suprise factor of it myself seeing as how life sometimes ends that way

| 1. Phenomenal1 (76) | 3 months ago |  I've noticed that too. I watched the movie "Seed" and it ended with the good guy losing. I was very surprised. Considering that the bad guy was so close to getting put in a situation that he probably wouldn't have gotten out of, I definitely didn't expect it to end the way it did. At first it was sort of a let down, but after we thought about the entire plot, it was kind of obvious that it would end like that. I personally don't have a preference of who survives and wins, or who loses and dies, but I also have noticed that the good guys have been losing alot and now that has me wondering how so many movies are coming up with similar endings for their plots.

| Phenomenal1 (76) | 3 months ago | You're welcome. I'm going to try to check out the movie you are talking about also. It is kind of weird how it is mainly with the rage movies. I can remember back in the days it wasn't so predictable, yet, the bad guys were normally the ones who got punished at the end. It's crazy how with time so much changes. I guess the movie directors/writers/producers are just trying to change up a little so endings aren't as easy to figure out, plus they do make a great amount of money, if they leave the audience yearning for me, since most likely they will be making either a second part, or something similar that we as the audience can relate the first movie to. | |

3.  ferdzNK (1686) | 3 months ago |  Honestly I don't like the idea of having a different ending for a movie, they leave me nothing to think about. For me movie is an art, its an expression of the director and not how the viewer would like to see it.
Imagine to sequel of those 2 ended movies, they're twice as many!

What if the mermaid not safe the prince and let him drown? What if the mermaid be more give the prince a sign or a note, be very sharp and smart and not helpless like that?... in some ways?
