Pay it forward

If you saw the movie you would know what it is about, those of you who haven't it starts with one person doing something BIG to help out another person, 3 other people actually, and those people help 3 other people out, it can't be something small though, it has to be something they can't do for themselves. This is basically quoted from the movie, anyways in the real world could something like this ever happen? Could you pay it forward? I would, I'd try at least, it's not something that easy to just go out and do. But it may help make the world a better place.

paying it forward is something my husband and i live by. there have been times when others have stepped in and assisted us when we needed it the most.. so we make a point of interceding with others in the same way, and tell these people that payback will be refused.. they are expected simply, to pay it forward to another when theyre able. this trend with us started with my younger brother years ago.. he tossed us money once to pay our gas bill that was about to be shut off. when we had the funds to pay him back the kindness.. he refused it, ordering us to give the money to someone else and help them as hed helped us.. so we did, giving them the same orders. its now policy here. random acts of kindness really does spread from one to another, and i like knowing that somewhere.. someone i dont even know, is recieving the assistance they need, that their loves have been touched by my brothers actions that have continued forward down the line.

yeah this concept doesn't help just someone in the small vicinity, but in a wider more grander scale. I play MMO's and do it... but as i said in my post above this I may not be optimistic enough to pay it forward or think it's really hard. I'm glad to hear that this practice is being used :) That means people care about others more than they do about themselves alone :D

I have watched the movie and I hope that all humans could behave this way; which would be great. But unfortunately, in today's society, some people do something in return for something and that's bad for me. I would love to help somebody out sincerely and not just because I want that person to remember me in the long run to do something good to me in return. I believe that kindness comes from the heart but pay it forward is something like infectious kindness.
