I have one. You should get one, really. You can purchase them in office max or maybe Walmart. They are about $29. They say that the really good ones do a cross cut. They might be better and more money. I just have the regular one. Looks like a pile of confetti. Have a great day. Get yourself a shredder.

I do Plan to get one I was just telling my husband that we need a shedder. they are nice to have.

You definitely should get a shredder to help protect yourself and your husband from identity theft in case someone decides to go through your trash. I have the cross cut one myself and it works very well. I can not even imagine someone taking the time to try and put the shredded papers back together.

They are, but the cross shredders are suppose to be much more safer for some reason. I really cannot imagine someone pasting the old style strips together, but they say they do. I cannot even put a cross word puzzle together. :)

i dont it's really neccessary to have a shreder although it is convienient to have one. I just shred paper with my hands and throw them into the trash.

I just got a paper shredder for Christmas last year, and it is sooo nice. Up till then though, I would burn it. I have a burn barrel in my back yard and would burn mail that had my account numbers and other information on it.

Everyone should have a shredder. It doesn't take much effort to sherd the paper. I purchased a portable shredder that is easy to store. At the end of every month, I take my box of things needing to be shred and my son shreds them for me (he thinks it is fun).

I use a paper shredder to get rid of my personal information that I do not need anymore. Anyone could go through your trash and use your information to commit fraud and identity theft so we do need to take caution. Here is my paper shredder. :-)
