 i always make a cup of coffee from the microwave. i put water in my cup and put it inside the microwave. when its hot already i bring it out and mix myself a cup of coffee. my wife dont like that. she said its bad to boil water at the microwave oven, but she cant tell me why it is bad. is it okay to heat water in the microwave. my cup is microwavable she is the one who bought it now icant really understand why is it bad. why they have to make microwavable cups if to heat water is bad.

I mean there are so many things out there that tell you to microwave your water and add the product to it. I mean that's how I make my hot chocolate. I always do that with my cup a noodle, just fill the cup with water and heat it up in the microwave. I would try to do some research on this but I'm sure its fine.

| 2. danishcanadian (12867) | 3 months ago |  I don't like instant coffee, I like coffee out of the coffee pot. When the coffee in the pot gets cold, then I will pour some into a cup and re-heat it in the microwave. I don't see a problem with that at all.
If I want a cup of tea, I'll "boil" water in the microwave, and then add the teabag. I've never had a problem doing that.
