I think the most touching story and the one that made me cry the hardest and makes me cry today to type it is about the Jewish mother of 2 sons in a prison camp. One was a healthy boy so he was sent to work daily but the other was a frail cripled boy of little use to the monsters in the ss uniforms.. This story was later told by the healthy son. The day arrived when they were taking the criples, the week, the useless to the ovens.. Mom held her cripled son and walked with him into the gas chamber hugging him and telling him not to be afraid that " Mama is here!" No greater love...then to give up your life for another! I'd like to think I would be strong enough to do the same but having 2 sons would complicate it an I guess we never know until we are in that position. What a hero she is!
