Where is your tax rebate check going?

Well mine will go right into the fixup of our home. I have been very frugal with items I needed. I just spent 600.00 of it that will go to the remodeling of our bathroom, believe it or not this will do the whole bathroom woohoo I was so tired of the 1930's look lol. Then in the rest of the house, The rugs are coming up and I will be exposing the beautiful wooden floors that will be sanded and polyeuthained for another 100.00 bucks then all we need is the paint for the rooms I am thinking another 300.00. It is great to have a husband that is very handy with all of this because the cost of labor is what kills everyone. I am not ashamed to say that my 2 children living at home will be getting second hand clothes it saves lots of money and you can still get some great name brands along with great conditioned clothing. Thier whole summer wardrobe will cost me about 150.00. Wow this tax check really is helping out. Going to yardsales and local auctions are great places if you want to change your decor. I always utilize freecycle for these types of projects, free is even better. I will still have extra money in the bank to pay a bill or two.
