Mothers day with no mother, do you give a gift to a 2nd mother instead?

Not all of us have our mothers with us still. I wanna know for those of you whose mother has passed away, do you still celebrate mothers day? Per say in her memory, or maby you have a 2nd mom?

I have a mother, but still I greet my friends mothers on mothers day, as I consider my friends mother as my own mother.

yes friend...i totally agree with you as i lost my mother just last year and the wound is still very raw.I keep remembering my mom and the best way to pay tribute to my mom would be to give something in charity to her.I will certainly do that.
