I haven't been on the internet since 2003 and I restart since four days ago. I went in a chatroom and met this pleasant divorced person. He is so entertaining and he want to start something with me. I have not laugh the way I have since finding out my sickness. We are both positive. What do you all think. Does internet relationship really works. Be honest.

I would recommend that you enjoy chatting and talking to him but not take anything too seriously. Most people online personalities are not the same as their real life ones, and plenty of them do not completely represent themselves truthfully.
If you do decide to take this further, just be very careful. Apply common sense just like as if you met him in a bar and know nothing about him. Its the same concept.
Remember, with an internet relationship you do not get to see the person, so you are lacking the visual cues to help you judge him. So I would recommend, enjoy but proceed with extreme caution.

It's wonderful that you feel comfortable with this person and you found someone nice whom you can connect with.
But your (and any) Internet relationship will if it moves off the Internet.
The Internet is just a tool that will help you meet people and kick-start relationships but it's not a suitable arena for you to live that relationship. It's great to meet someone online but it's another matter altogether when you meet them face-to-face.
Their body language, the facial expressions, and so forth is just very vital. Plus grounding an online relationship in reality will allow you to observe this person interacting with others and his surroundings on a day-to-day basis.
Meet up, be smart and take it from there.
I met my hubby through an online introduction and after a month of chatting, we decided that it was time to meet up and see if anything happens. And well, something did. :)
