He is the last of the good & honest men in this world. But if I were in a relationship with a man who would do something like this then no I would not fogive him. Our marriage would be over. My ex and I had a lot of issues revolving around trust; one of which was that he would often go to his girl best friend whenever he has problems with me instead of talking to me about it. I never knew about it until she came to me and told me that I was a lousy gf and that I was making my ex's life a misery, etc, etc. There were other issues which I forgave and tried to forget...but his long term crush/love for his girl best friend broke the camel's back.
Since then, I can never accept betrayal - cheating consists as one of these things, emotionally or physically. To cheat on me is more than just being unfaithful. By cheating on me, my partner is saying that I'm not even worth talking to, that our problems are not important and that I don't matter at all anymore.
So why should I give a second chance to someone who considers me to be all those things?

For me, trust is such a fundamental element ANY type of relationship should and MUST have whether would this be just plain friendship, or even business. Trust keeps the relationship going.
