My sister's granddaughter had little Katie
on April 3, 1997. Little Katie was born with the
chips stacked against her. Although Katie
never walked she always smiled.
I never met Katie but I knew her.
Every Christmas I recieved a complete
update of Katie's accomplishments and
would be so happy for every small bit
of progress that my little Christmas Girl
made and I would get calls because we all loved Katie so!
This past Christmas Katie's mom had
remarried. She and Katie had moved and
somehow I didn't get my update. I contacted
my sister to ask for news and my Great neice Linda
emailed me an update followed by a call.
Last month my little Christmas Girl became
my little Christmas Angel. Her job here on
earth was finished so she went home.
Katie was here much longer then we ever thought
she would be and for that we are all so thankful.
I am sad that I never got to hug her but I can not be sad
that her daily suffering is over.. I know our Katie is
skipping the streets of Heaven..and running and jumping
and doing all the things her earthly body never allowed her.
Katie taught us all alot in her short life.
She was one of my heros..an inspiritation.

Hi raydene! I agree with you dear. I am sure that your katie is having so much fun in Heaven right now with all her angel playmates. I hope one day, I could meet all those angels and I think that is the best thing that could ever happen to me.
Take care and God bless! happy mylotting!
