Do any of you use the Freecycle Network? (http://www.freecycle.org) Here's the description of the site: "The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,361 groups with 5,094,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills." I love this site! I recently listed my old stinky couch that is too heavy for me to move and have someone coming to pick it up in the next few days. There's always all kinds of great stuff on there being given away! If you haven't checked it out before, you should give it a look and see

Me too :) People throw away a lot of nice things just because they are too lazy to donate them. I think this site is good for them as well because they can just have someone come pick it up!

I used to be on this site but it got ridiculous the amount of email. I was getting over 150 per day. Each person that lists something, each person inquiring about something, each time somebody gets something and when somebody doesn't have it any more! This got to be too much!

Yes, I have heard of this and I think it is an awesome idea. My sister, who lives in New York, uses it quite often. I love to hear her stories and hear her get so excited about a 'find'. I have not looked into it in my area but I have meant to. Thanks for adding the link. I am motivated now to look into it while surfing around this morning.
