I actually still remember the story.Sad, strong and inspiring message.

It is amazing how someone would plan such a journey for their partner in life and still try to bring them happiness even though they are coping through such a sad loss. I think that it was well written, played out, and is a movie that is highly recommended by many viewers. I know I can watch it a million times and still feel the way I did the very first time that I watched it. It is a really good movie.

I didn't cry but it really touched my heart the way he set everything up for her. One thing I will say that I didn't like was the ending! She totally should have hooked up with the weird guy with the social disease! Anybody else agree because my friends and I were not happy... well we were happy but not as happy as we could have been.

I like the fact of who she ended up with because she was so in love with her husband and they were childhood brings...this guy lets her talk about George; where as social disease guy was too self absorbed IMO. BUT on another note, Harry Connick Jr. is a hotty! | |

They didn't play up the fact that it was a book first and I came to that conclusion myself after seeing previews for it. I rented the movie last week and saw that they mentioned that it was a book first on the back in the description. What a good movie! It strayed slightly from the book but still stayed in pretty close detail. I think I cried the whole half of the movie. I didn't like the sister though, her acting style didn't fit in with the rest of the characters. I really liked it though and recommend it to others. I'll be buying this one to add to my collection.
