I like Italian dressing for marinade too. Soy sauce is good to add, so is brown sugar, it adds a nice combo flavor to the marinade.

My favorite marinade is Jack Daniels Marinade it comes in a bag and you just put your meat in the bag and let it marinade for several hours in the fridge. It tastes so good on steaks. There is no alchohol in it so it so kids can eat it too.
