Have you experienced great nature disaters like earthquake?

There are a wide rang of nature disaters existing in the earth,including flood,drought,earthquake,fetel infectious diseases as well as tsunami and hurricane,etc.
My hometown is in sourth abundant in water.In my childhood,floods often visited us and submerge our houses.Several guys were drawned miserably.That was the first nature disater I know in my early time.
Yesterday afternoon,a unforgettable day in my life, I experienced a deadly earthquake myself. Luckily,I am safe finally.But hundreds and thousands of my landman has been dead in this disater.
The feelings are extremly terrible before those nature disaters,because you can do nothing.
Oh,my friends, have you experienced one or two of those nature disaters so far?How about you think at that moment?

Yes I have been through the 1974 F-5 tornado tht hit Xenia, Ohio it destroyed 85% of the town and killed 33 injured hundreds.
2004 I lost my home Louisiana to Hurricane Ivan that was spinning tornados as it pasted the mouth of the Mississippi River at the tip of Louisiana, 2005 I again lost my home to Hurricane Katrina when 20 feet of water covered our home. We have had small earthquakes here but nothing like China had, thank god. It is terrible these things that come to destroy our homes and lives. And you are right there is nothing you can do but try to get to a safe place and protect yourself as much as possible. If I had to pick out of them all I guess I would take the hurricanes, at least you got up to a weeks notice to leave.
