I bought a domain name at $15 per year to earn more money

I have decided to get my own domain name for fear that Wordpress might delete my account. I got a warning weeks ago telling me that they have some concerns about the contents of my blog and when I contacted and asked them what's wrong with my blogs, they replied that I should not make a link to any paid blogging sites. When I removed my link, they told me to delete the blog which I can't do. Otherwise, I will not be given new tasks by the paid blogging sites which made me earn $30. Now the money I earned, I instead bought a new domain name so I will have unlimited income from paid blogging. Do you think I made a right & wise decision to buy my own domain name in order to make more money?

I do think you have decided the right decision and I am making some small money from blogging my own personal blog. I only get friends to visit it and blog about personal stuffs and other things that I like, and I am thinking to get my own domain name soon. so maybe you can share ur experience by then ^^

I don't know anything about it , so I can't say anything. Can you let me know ...how will you earn after purchasing a domain name on yourself ?
I am also interested in earn money online, but not getting anything solid here to work with .

My experience with free hosted blogging sites is that you are at the mercy of their rules and regulations. For a start, use those paid blogging sites in making your own blog site.

It looks like you made the right decision. One way to make a good decision is to do 'cost benefit analysis'. If an alternative produce more benefit than its cost, that alternative is not a bad one. In your case it seems that the earning that you will get is more than $15 dollars that you sacrifice today (benefit greater than cost), therefore you decision is not a bad decision, it maybe a good decision.

Buying a domain name is crucial for everyone who wants to earn online. I have one personal domain name and am working on another domain that is owned by one of my friends. I am sure this is the only way to make serious money online, so anyone who deals with free hosting sites and free 3rd level domains should reconsider what they are doing.
I only wonder what kind of paid blogging sites you work with. Could you describe how you actually earn via paid blogging? What should be done, where we need to register and when we can expect $30 in our PayPal account? :)

It's smorty that gave me projects & paid me. You have to register with them and you will be paid $6 for every approved task. Payments are sent through paypal.
