I read an article in imdb that Keanu was offered the main role in the speed racer movie. This is understandable as the W*** (hard to spell) brothers who directed the Matrix Trilogy also direct this one. What if it really happened. Do you think Speed Racer can be a better movie ?
I remember Speed Racer the cartoon from my childhood and I picture Speed Racer as a thin athletic Japanese man not Keanu Reeves or any other American. I think a japanese actor would have made it a better movie.
