what is your first activity after eating food? do you take rest, walk for some time or some thing else. I walk 14o feet after breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think we should walk approximately 140 feet or more than after eating food. You will feel relax and its good for health. should we walk or not?

After eating its often happened you feel lazy.any way a little walk should be 15min after eating, thanks for your post.

I think I should try walking after lunch because of late i have started putting on a lot of weight

I am used to stand or walk for about 10 to 15 minutes after eating meals. I was told that if we keep on sitting after we have finished our meals we will have a bulky belly. It is really dreadful for a woman to have such a undesirable curvature. It is also not healthy if we take a siesta straight away after having our lunch. Doctors always advise us not to have physical exercise once we have finished eating food. It is better for us to do exercise after resting for half to an hour after having meal.

Hi there iftikharsumn! In the morning, after having breakfast, I usually shower then walk to our internet cafe. After lunch, I just stay standing up after eating then sleep or go back to our internet cafe. In the evening, I stand up for a while after having dinner, then watch tv.

Taking fifteen minutes rest after lunch and walking 1 mile after dinner is good for health.Actually this is adviced by my family doctor. But I cannot do that because I am mother of 2 years old son.During weekend I do it.My husband help me to do this by engaging my son. 140 feet is equal to 45 mts(approx).According to me we should walk atleast 500 mts after having lunch or dinner.

I probably take a rest for like thirty minutes then procceed with schedule.

One of my friends suggest me to rest for 15min after eating and then walk. So now me too doing this,It keeps you active and healthy. you are doing well dear.Thanks for your post.
