What would you prefer? To participate in a Cosplay or just watch a Cosplay?

Hi! Welcome to myLot. Im not really a party person and I really dont like to dress up that much so I would probably not attend a Cosplay party. It looks fun though so I might jut watch it on tv. If im feeling a bit adventurous I might attend a Cosplay Party but wearing normal clothes. I would just have a live coverage of the party or just hang out in the sidelines watching the other people in their trendy colorful costumes. Maybe have a picture or two.^_^ If you like to party and like to dress upyou should join one for the heck of it and for the experience too. How many poeple can say that they have been Sakuragi Hanamichi? or maybe Naruto or whoever you're favorite anime character is. Well, goodluck in finding the best outfit for your character. hello, crimsonshock, welcome to mylot:D, the same with you I really like to watched cosplayer on an anime convention or televison. I find it very interesting and fascinating to see people wearing anime clothes, esp. those who manage to get the exact costume and really look like the character they're cosplaying. And really sometimes I wished I'll have the chance to cosplay my favorite character someday. But it's very expensive to get a good costume, so maybe it will be impossible for me to participate XD.

Why not? You wouldn't be alone and not only are you fulfilling your interests, your also helping others who appreciate seemingly having to meet the characters that are suppose to be only fictional in reality.

Once your dressed up as your fave character, you embody their traits and personality, so much as to maintaining the character's integrity.

I wanted to participate! I wanted to dress like Tifa from Final fantasy 7. She's so sexy and I really liked her character there. Love them (Cloud & Tifa!)

I think costplay it's cute! i would like to be one someday. If i will pay to wear a costum and act like the character. It would be fun!!!

I really enjoy watching cosplay. Its so cool getting to see some of your favorite up close and personal. I have even have some hug me, which was so awesome. Watching so many people cosplay and have fun has started to make me want to join in on the fun. At the next Anime Expo this July, I plan on cosplaying as Meg from Burst Angel and am so looking forward to it.

I really like watching them, and I've had a couple friends that like performing in them... But i really don't think I'd like participating myself lol.

I prefer watching cosplay myself. It's not that I think that cosplay isn't cool, but I kinda have a self esteem issue when it comes to cosplay. I am not the best costume maker, so I think I would feel shy around the other people who make really amazing costumes. Also, I think I would feel a lot better if I had a better body to fill out those costumes.^_^

Still, I am really impressed by the people who have the skills and self confidence to do a really good job at cosplay.

i'm also a fan of it and i've never tried joining or participating in some cosplay events. so i would definitely want to participate in one of the cosplay events if i have an opportunity. i love wearing anime dresses because they're different and cute, so i would definitely go for it
