How much money do these guys need to make? I'm sure they make more than enough to support their needs and families. I'd say him and all the people in professional sports make more than enough and it's not like they're making very little money. Now if they're blowing their money that's another story and their own fault for doing so.

If fans wouldn't get buying the tickets and prices they wouldn't be abble to charge or make so much. With that said it is almost all big business money and advertising anyway. Regular people can't afford to go to all those games, it is the big corporations that buy the luxury boxes and the tv networks paying ver a billion dollars to show the games. At least Urlacher isn't one of these idiots like chris henry or cedric benson or worse michael vick. All that money and they just throw it away. And not that there is a defense when talking about millions of dollars to play a game, but football players have shorter careers than do bb and bsktball players and unlike those sports they can be cut any time. When a baseball player signs for 10 million they get 10 million even if they get benched, hurt, or sent to the minors. In football if you are cut, out goes the contract. That kind of sounds like real life for most of it doesn't it?
