karadiablo (269) | 1 month ago | Your right about practice, I know that is all we can ever do if we wish to get better at anything. I think for me the problem with buildings is there not alive and they of course are composed of straight lines and I enjoy the flow.

I can draw imaginary faces but I am also good in copying pictures. I also find it easy to draw animals, but just like you, I'm not into buildings and I think that is not my interest. However, I also find it fun to make colorful pictures of foods, fruits, well, maybe because I do love to eat.

4. crisesand (417) | 2 months ago | I got same problems. I can draw human figures but not concrete ones like buildings or equipments, and animals. It's because I learned drawing from enjoying sketches on comics which most of the time draws human figures. I can draw noe buldings, but it takes long time before I can make it look close to the ones I copied, sometimes not symmentrical

6. Kierstal (102) | 2 months ago | I, too, prefer drawing people (primarily women) and animals. Natural inanimate objects (such as trees, rocks, etc.) aren't so much a problem for me though, but I have a very hard time with anything mechanical, like cars and buildings. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that those things tend to have a lot of straight lines, instead of curves. Most of the artists I know are the same way, but I've met a few that are the other way around, preferring instead to draw things that they can take a ruler to instead of more fluid lines.
