| Dried Beans  | | | |  There are so many different kinds of dried beans. Lentils, Navy Beans, Kennedy Beans, Pinto Beans, etc. Most of them I have heard of before but I don't know what the differenece is between them or the best way to cook them. In the past, I have cooked lentils using a ham bone and it turned out quiet well. What are your favorite types of dried beans? How do you cook or prepare them? Are there certain beans that are better for dishes than other beans?

| |  I alway just wash and soak my beans what ever kind and then i cook them in the croak pot on low all night,i just season to taste pintoes i chop up some onions in them and just what ever comes to mine.
