Have You Ever Heard Of Rosacea?

Well until today, I have never heard of it. It is a reddish skin rash, usually found on the face. There is no cure for it, but there are ways of managing symptoms and preventing it. A few of the causes are stress, too much sun or cold weather, too hot too cold drinks, and over-exercising. Check out this link for more infomation.

Yes I have heard of it, I think they have special makeup for it but i didn't know there wasn't a cure for it, I did know a lady I used to work with that now that I have heard of it I think would be safe to say she suffered from it...

I've never heard of it until you mentioned it here. I did another search so I could see a picture of it. Interesting as I don't know of anyone that has this.

It is quite interesting. I have been in the medical field for years and never heard that word. But I bet if I look at the picture, I will recognize it as something I have seen before. I can not look it up now though, because I just had dinner, LOL. Seems as though I always respond to you when I am about to eat or have eaten. And no I did not have such a weak stomach before. I think what it was back then, was that I just grinned and bore it. You know, did what I had to do.

I have rosacea too. It's been a long time since I wrote a discussion about it (about a year ago). The dermatologist said she could use a lazer and burn the ends of the small blood vessels and that would stop them from being so visible. But that costs about $200. a visit and doesn't eliminate the entire problem. I have tried all the cremes and lotions with no luck. One of the websites I found said they thought the redness was a result of internal parasites,like in the stomach. They claim that if you were to take anti-biotics for the parasites, that the rosacea would clear up. Haven't tried that yet. I just deal with it by putting on more foundation. sad Let me know if you hear of any other help!

Alright, I will certainly keep an eye out for this thing now. I had my skin tags burned with a laser and it hurt so bad that there were tears coming from my eyes. But don't worry, I am a whimp when it comes to things like that. Once I experience giving birth, I will be much tougher, LOL.
