how do you deal with people who always take advantage with you?

I feel happy when I get to help other people. However, I feel bad at times when I get to help people who do not even want to help themselves. I do not think it's fair that we exert too much effort to help people who become too dependent to the extent that they do not help themselves. Whenever this happens to me, I try to stay away from that person for a while. I do observe if he/she would be able to stand up on his/her own. If he/she doesn't, I would try my best to talk to him/her about it. If I see no change, I would just walk away.

Just avoid them is what i know, i stay away from people who always try to take advantage of me. I cant hurt them but still i have to avoid them in order not to get myself hurt. Some times i tell them how much they are troubling me and will get rid of them fine if they can change their behaviour and treatment else i cant bear that for long.

its very annoying. i try not to let other people take advantage of me. its not that i show no humanity, but i try to read mind. i can understand when people are to take my advantage.so i keep away from them. i politely make it a point that i can understand the motive.

I gave up years ago helping people who were unwilling to help themselves. It is a waste of my time and energy. The first step for anyone to make in any situation is to want to help themselves, for example someone with a drink problem. I will willingly help someone who is making an effort to help themselves though and will often do some random act of kindness that they are not expecting to help them even more and give them their faith back in people especially if they have been hurt in some way by someone. simply.. i dont allow myself to take advanage. and those that try.. are removed from my life. i love helping people.. but i wont be used, by anyone.

I too like to help people but more then often you find this kind of persons who take advantage of you and leaves you wondering why Did I help, but again when I meet someone Again I help , this thing goes on all the time but i the process i do meet up with some great guys and that compensates i think.

I don't like this kind of people and I will try to avoid them. I love China

i am also one of those who's taken advantage of easily i feel in my opinion as i don't tend to say no tht much. i usually try to avoid a situation where i think people might ask for tough favors. of course this is not always possible so i try to refuse as nicely as i can especially if they're my friends. sometimes, i go about refusing in a long winded way

Majority people think in selfish way so there are getting problems them self so they are creating some problems with opposite people and friends,relatives so i faced so many problems and they always push us to do those things so they really don't understand us i can treat them in soft way other than rude way what about you?
