I watched the Trailer online of Frontier(s) the movie and boy was I in for a surprise. It is gruesome, to say the least. The antagonist goes beyond the borders of sanity to bring the most harrowing scenes on screen. When I meet with my horror fanatic friends this weekend, I will certainly tell them to watch out for it. They will surely enjoy the violence and pain so graphically depicted in the movie. Unfortunately, although the initial screening will be shown unrated and uncut in 10 theaters in 10 cities all over the United States, we in the Philippines will still have to wait for it to be released in our region. And by that time, horror genre followers will already be salivating. What about you? Would you watch this kind of film? for me, i don't think so.

I own a lot of unrated films. I like creative movies that push the limit. I think a lot of the low budget films are unrated because of the violence and gore. It doesn't bother me because I am well aware of the fact that they are super fake. And usually the 'fx' are slightly cheap, so that helps. It's okay that some people can't handle the violence, there's nothing wrong with that.

I have no interest in ratings what so ever. I'm an adult now, so it doesn't matter to me if it's rated G, R, PG, X o watever. I'm not worried about what I might see. If the movie looks interesting, I'll watch it, raiting or no raiting.
