Pull Your Teeth Off Or Root Canal? |
| |
| Ei folks! I'd just like to know.. If a dentist told you that your tooth is badly broken and you need to undergo root canal, or have to pull it out, what would you rather have? In my dental practice i think most of them chose to pull their teeth off even when i explained to them the consequences of doing so. If i were to be asked, i would never want to have my teeth pulled. How about you? What would be your reason? | | | | | |

| | At this point in my life, I would have to say to have it pulled. There is no way I could afford an 800 dollar or more root canal. Sad, but pulling a tooth is less expensive than paying for a super expensive root canal. | | | | | | |

| | Root canal is better.Because it can preserve original tooth structure. The pressure of denture and original tooth absorb during mastication is different.Original one is better especially for posterior teeth where the force are highest.Other benefit are it can prevent absorption happen faster.Extraction only should be done if the tooth has already fracture severely or severe mobility. | | | | | | |

| | A root canal serves to remove the pulp of a tooth (the nerves and blood vessels) when it becomes infected or decayed. It can be an extremely complicated procedure, but if performed properly, it is not nearly so painful as its reputation would have you believe. Root canals do have certain side effects, however, which you should learn to recognize before you undergo the procedure. | | | | | | |
