15 Commandments!  |

 Did you see History Of The World Part 1? If not.It is a spoof of important moments in history by Mel Brooks.In one scene he is playing Moses coming down with the tablets but instead of two, he has three. He says 15, and then drops one tablet and then says 10, 10 Commandments. Question.What do you think are the lost 5 Commandments?
For me the lost 5 are:
1.Respect others opinions
2.Thou shalt not rape a child or adult
3.Love and respect your neighbors, straight or gay
4.Don't judge your neighbor by the way he looks and last but not least
5.Wait an hour before swimming after eating.When I was young, I assumed it Was the 11th Commandment.

2.  jaredlp (198) | 3 months ago |  First for historical acuracy the two tablets contained the same thing. As was custom of that period of time, contracts where drawn on two tablets and both parties keep their own. In this case God's copy was placed in the Ark of the Covenent. The peoples copy I cant remember (been ten years since old testement history class sorry.)
Now the 5 more Commandments for the movie
11. Thou shall not waste Alcoholic Bevarages.
12. Thou shall move to right lane when done passing so fast traffic can get through.
13. Thou shall leave a booty call before the sun rises.
14. If someone cometh over whilst thou art here, thou art my cousin form out of town.
15.Thou shalt kiss anything but my mouth.
ok so last three are my favorite Booty Call Commandments but oh well. Hope everyone had a good laugh.

1/ Thou shalt respect the earth we've been blessed with and the animals that share it with us
2/ Thou shalt care for those less fortunate than you to the best of your ability and not look down upon them
3/ Thou shalt never sexually assault or abuse any person or living thing and thou shalt respect the sexual preferences of consenting adults
4/ Thou shalt respect the political beliefs of others, although we know Jesus was a liberal
5/ Thou shalt never interrupt a woman while she's watching her favorite TV shows, especially Brothers & Sisters and Desperate Housewives

| 5. fpd1955 (1206) | 3 months ago |  Being raised a Catholic girl and having The Ten Commandments drilled into my head by the Nuns and Priests at my grade school and having to watch the very, very long movie "The Ten Commandments" every year for 6 years.....I laughed very hard at that scene in the movie by Mel Brooks. I can remember saying, "Thank goodness Moses dropped the third tablet or I would have had to learn 15 commandments!"
Mel Brooks equals brilliance!!
1.) Thou shalt not engage in war, especially using religion as the igniter.
2.) Thou shalt not force ones beliefs on others.
3.) Thou shalt not build weapons of mass destruction.
4.) Thou shalt not pay taxes on the absolute necessities of life.
5.) Thou shalt love and respect every living creature on this earth, including
the Earth.
