for me
the best ones are
Sachin Tendulkar
Adam Gilchrist
Brian Lara

sachin for me is on top of the tree as he has carried his on-field brilliance off -field too .he is the best example for someone to how to carry the name and fame without any controversy.

Gilchrist is the next for his on -field behaviour specially the one when he walks back when he is out even if he is not given out by the umpir.Anyone can do that in simple equations but he has done that in crunch and difficult situations for his team.

Brian Lara also like Sachin Tendulkar carried himself off the field too so he also makes to my list.

great list.SOrry for forgetting brian lara. for me i will say lara has not played with his full potential all the time. He may have created more records if he played with his full potential.

donbradman is al time great and he is a legend. Its incredible that he has an average of 98 in test matches.

actually his average is 99.4 and don bradman is the greatest player of all time. no one even comes close
