I don't but I've looked at a few profiles that do, I like having the option to hide my friends or other catagories. Thoughts, comments?

just my interests.that list would take up way too much of the page.i wish we could hide activities, just because that list is too long also.

I know what you mean about the activities, I know what I've been doing, but I do like to follow up with some people so if it wasn't there I'd probably complain.

I have filled out everything in my profile, including age, and location. MyLot didn't ask us for too many specifics such as address, e-mail address, phone number, or anything else that people might use against us, so I had no problems filling out the entire thing.

Its cautionary about stuff like that so I didn't feel I needed to hide anything either. If I ever feel like I can't be myself I'll disappear in a flash.

I dont hide things on Mylot I dont see a need really. I like to allow people to know what ive been doing so they can get to know a little bit about me that way.

The pendulum swings both ways on this subject.

I have my friends and interest lists hidden. My friends list is hidden, as feel nobody needs to know who all my friends are on Mylot. Some are very concerned with privacy. I respect their decision to be able to sit back and read posts and not have friend requests just because they are on my friend list. I have a very short interest list and when everyone could see it people would comment about how short it is at the time. Its still short, as feel if I wouldn't post a question, then why have it in my interests. People should have whatever length interest list that they would like to have now. I add people to my friend list when I'm reading their posts and like what they have to say. This doesn't mean I agree with the post, but they may have made me open my eyes to another way of looking at a topic. We all don't need to agree with each other, but should respect each other.

Great points! I guess you could leave anybody who looked at your profile in a state of mystery. I haven't had anybody ask that I hid them in my friends list, I would if somebody did though. Respect is key, you're right about that.
