I hit the mother load of mushrooms

I am so very excited I have been looking for mushrooms for a week. Well not constantly just rummaging around here and there. Today I went down by the river and we found two bags of mushrooms that were nice and big. I cannot wait to fry them up tonight!! What a wonderful day!! So how is your mushroom hunting going?

Wow!!Arent they great.I got one bag full but I left them in the fridge for a long time.They all turned bad so had to throw.But no one really likes them at my house. How do you make them .Send me some really good ideas then maybe i weill try them.

So, how yummy were they, Tricia? We do not get enough rain in my area to ever have a good wild mushroom crop. My sister lives in Indiana and her family loves mushroom hunting. Like you, she gets very excited to find a good bunch.

wow what a big catch. LOL. i like the taste of mushroom, that is why until now i always buy commercial mushroom which is cultured by many farmers in our town. we mixed it with fried fish. atleast we have one mushroom menu every week.
