 I don't personally own this camera, YET. I do have the older model with 8 megapixels though. If you're looking for a good camera with great specs, including 12.1 megapixels, video capabilities, HD resolution and other stuff, AND at a great price, I would recommend checking this one out. Whenever I get the chance I will be buying myself one.

1.  lilaclady (14400) | 3 months ago |  I am looking for an extra camera, I take photos for a band and I have learnt it is a good idea to always have a second camera, but what I have noticed with digital cameras there is always a couple of seconds delay from pressing the button to when the photo actually takes which is a nightnmare when taking stage shots, this is even with the red eye function off so if when you get your camera I would be interested to know if this happens with this camera...I hope you get your camera and I hope you are happy with it...

It's only $199 which is a great deal for a 12.1 mp camera that can take videos and is in HD resolution. | |

If you are doing photos of a band you really might want to consider a DSLR as well, point and shoots are good but every point and shoot I've had has had delays with taking shots, especially in low light shots.
I also have to say that most cameras have red eye function built into them, you just have to get into the set up.
But the delay that I would suffer with night shots and low light shots is something I didn't want to deal with anymore.
I also wanted something that you could use a flash with.
And you can get a D40 iwth a lens for 600 or less --and it might be something you could save in a year or less for on mylot.
Check out DSLR's, and good luck towards your dream o a better camera.

I will be keepin gmy point nd shoot Sony for now but I can't wait to get my Nikon.
Point and shoots are great, but I've had my fill of them and really want to o something with some kick to it...

Heres a review of it. I own a Canon PowerShotA540 4Z zoom and 6.0 MegaPixels. It's not the greatest but it does a super job for a camera in this range.
