It's my mom's special day!!!!

On May 21st my Mom will be turning 51. I still don't have any idea on what to give her on that day. I would love to surprise but I really don't know how. Or should I say I am really not good at surprises.
I need to ask you guys on any suggestions on how could I make my mom's birthday a super special one.

Advance happy birthday to your mom! Well, I guess it depends upon your mother's interests. I would suggest the following though:
1. Complete Spa experience - Every mom needs to be pampered sometimes.
2. Take her shopping - I don't know any woman who hates shopping.
3. Trip to another country - If you have th money, why not?
4. Self-made gifts - If you're creative and crafty, you can make scrapbooks of your baby pictures or maybe old pictures of her.
5. Throw a party for her - If she's the outgoing type and haven't been seeing her old friends and classmates, you can throw a surprise party for her.
6. Cook for her - If you're planning for just a simple gift, this will definitely do.

Find out what your mother likes most. Sometimes giving her something that she really loves will surprise her. Has she hinted that she wants perhaps a birthday party? If not, take her out to lunch and spend time with her, treat her to a movie or maybe a spa. I'm sure you will find something wonderful for her special day.
