against movies!!

No I don't agree that all movies are a waste of time, but there are certain types of movies that I wont watch. If I know beforehand that a movie is going to be too violent, bloody, or have a lot of nudity in them, then I wont waste my time watching that. I noticed that they are coming out with a lot of movies like that as well as demonic horror movies. I'd rather not wast my time with such garbage as that. But not all movies are bad. I am looking forward to seeing 27 Dresses as well as P.S. I Love You, both of which I've heard good things about.

I grew up in a family of movie buffs. Our collection of movies literally cover our walls. I got lucky, I guess. I was introduced to movies that other parents shied away from showing their child. I didn't watch anything overly graphic or outrageous. But, at the same time if something was a little more than PG-13 when I was five it was okay. I wasn't shielded from anything. My family preaches openness, lol.

watching movies cn be a waste of time u are heavily investing lot of time in it. otherwise it cn be actually relaxing to watch movies after a hectic days schedule.

LOL well I'm a parent and I watch more movies than my kids do so I'd never tell them its a "waste of time" just like I dont tell them video games or the internet is a waste of time BUT my kids are also very balance ppl..they DO enjoy other things like playing outside, hanging with friends, reading, artsy stuff etc etc..

I agree that most of our parents think watching movies is a waste of time but i don't agree that it actually is! Anyways our parents too used to watch movies but i think we should avoid watching voilent movies cause that's unhealthy for the mind!
