Today when I was playing baseball with my friends, one guy called my name far away.
But I didn't know his name, though we met some where.Iwas so sorry for him, and so ashamed of asking his name. But I invited him to play baseball with us. Until we finished, I didn't get his name.
I felt so bad, do you have some friends like this, when you meet each other, you can recognize him or she, but without knowing his or her name?like this, a nodding acquaintance??

Yes...I ecperienced it lots of times especially that my work demands meeting lot of people. Soemtimes, I will be in the same transportation with them or same dining but no matter how I tried figuring out their names, I just can't. I am lucky sometimes if he/she is accompanied by another friend so I get a chance to remember my friend's name.
I guess it is just the same to some people we've met because we usually tend to forget things that are not really significant to us. But if someone made an impression to us or do something extraordinary, no matter how many years passed we still remember them, right?

Ya, it happens to me too...wen I was in college, I had met so many people during my 1st year... but then as time went by, I forgot some of them as there were no acknowledgement at all after that...then suddenly as we came to our final year, we were all talking again just bcoz we would never see others again ...that time I was really embarrased to ask some of the names...
come on, they cant really expect us to remember their name wen we hardly talk...
so I guess it just goes along .....
