sale!  | |  When you see a sale going on, do you jump in to take advantage of big savings or do you opt to stay away from the noise and crowds?
Personally, I'm a big fan of sales. I make sure to keep tabs on mall wide sales and even go as far as to ask employees when the next big sale will be. On regular days, I still buy stuff, but I find that I just can't resist a sale. I'm driven by the knowledge that I am saving money whenever I buy something on sale. So instead of computing how muc I'm spending, I keep track of how much I'm saving! Obviously, this may lead to overspending on my part because I tend to buy cheaper goods which I don't necessarily need.
What are your views on this?

Sometimes, when I really cannot afford to spend, I just stay home or do something else to get busy. By not going to the sale I can save a lot of money but at the same time I always regret not going when I need to buy something later on that I could've gotten for a bargain price at the sale. | |

Also, sales at these stores are quite predictable, which is when the season changes and the old collection has to go. Like yourself, I enjoy shopping with my mom because she pays for the stuff I buy. | |
