Sachin Tendulkar - A luck mascot!!!

Come on. Why does everything have to revolve around Sachin Tendulkar? Mumbai won 3 matches before Sachin started playing for the team. Why no one pointed out a name when they started winning? why sachin became the lucky mascot when Mumbai Indians were already winning matches before Sachin came into the playing eleven?

In a similar tome one can say that Bhajji was the unlucky mascot for the team. he went and the team started winning. Such talks really undermine the fine efforts made by other team players because of whom the match was won. How would you feel if you hit a brilliant century to win a match for the team and someone else says the team won because some lucky player was in the playing eleven. And if they player didn't play in the eleven you wouldn't have scored the century or the team won the match.

As much as I like to think of it that way my feeling is that it is sheer coincidence. i agree that he inspires his team and also takes some pressure off the other batsmen - but to think he made all the difference -no way!

Ya he didnt perform well but his captaincy was good...for example he made pollock bowl all his 4 overs in first spell only which payed off when pollock took a wicket in his 4th over...the field placement was also clever...example secon slip in t20 cricket.
