Hi,
I think it was against Chennai. Yes it was a magnificient innings and it reminded everyone of his mid ninties form.
He changed the total concept of the power plays and becoz of him we c big totals being made and chased down in modern cricket.

yes he is in great form.he is unstoppable in batting.Mumbai have a great chance for coming in to semi-finals if they continued they current performance.they even a chance for wining this season.

well yes he played real well and that is why he is going so on so good. he is running form which will be very good for the mumbai indian team and this may bring some hope for them to be in the seimis

when their is sachin, so even jayasurya also start feeling good . this is all about sachin effects

the way sanath jayasuriya has played in the last couple of games it seems that the other teams should now realize that mumbai is going to pose a huge threat to them. undoubtedly sanath jayasuriya has been among the best one day player that sri lanka has ever produced.Apart from his batting, his bowling skills have increased his value as a player. the way he pulled shoiab akhtar for a huge six was truly remarkable. he has got the capability to win matches single handedly as we have seen in the past. i think with the return of the master blaster tendulkar and jayasuriya's current batting form the mumbai indians are looking forward to their remaining matches with great enthusiasm and confidence..

i dont know whether mumbai indians lift the ipl cup. but one thing is after sachins arrival both sanath and team mumbai turned strongly.

Personally I don't think in a short version of the game like T20 it would be that easy to be very consistent, especially or players who are heavily dependent on their form. jaisurya is looking very good and dangerous ever since him century against Chennai Superkings. But remember that before that century his highest score in the ipl as well as his last 20 ODI's was 41. Form is a very brittle factoir. It can desert a player any time.

Look at the example opf Rohit Sharma, he started off as a really good T20 batsman but he hasn't been able to keep up with the average. I think Gambhir has to be credited for performing consistently. I believe it is because of his ability to play spin as well as pace with equal ease. jaisurya is not really known for his batting technique. he is a batsman who is heavily dependent on his form and power hitting. The moment he starts to get top edges like Afridi.......You will see him being criticized for the same shots that he plays today for boundaries.

And just a single players efforts cant win you matches in a team game. The others will have to put their hands up and be counted.

he is a great player no doubt. The way he is playing even at this age is really unbelievable. I think he should carry as far as performance is concerned.
