What does it mean to live?

Yes what do you think your purpose on earth is.
It is one of those questions that makes you think. I have to still in a way think about it
I know my purpose is to touch peoples lives. In some way, which is why I'm trying to write my books and such. Also now that I have my son it's to teach him how to be a proper person.
This is an ever changing thing so no matter what you say now it may be different in 5 or 10 years from now.

Your purpose in life is to know, love, and to serve Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God. You will live forever somewhere it is just a question of where.

what if you were athiest or agnostic so instead of saying that it's everyone's purpose, say it is yours because I for one am agnostic and don't go by the teachings of god.
and other people would find it extremely offensive

I like to believe we're here to learn from each other and help each other, It's depressing to think we have no purpose and we just are here to live out our lives until our deaths. The actions of people I read and hear about every day don't always support this theory however. All we can do is try and lead the best life we can and hope we make an impression on some people and help make the world a better place even in a small way.
