what was your childhood like

Growing up my childhood days was very enjoyable. From climbing hills, going for water and just walking to school. Although I am a female in those days it is like everyone was one gender. We use to play dandy shandy, baseball, skipping. When it is guinep time we would go climb the hill that was nearby and pick and sell guinep. Then mango time we go to other friends yard and pick and eat. In those days we do not know what is hungry. There was all kinds of fruit trees in our community. Walking to school in groups was so enjoyable we would run and skip and tell each other stories (duppy) man those days was great. So what was your childhood like

Sounds like you had a fun and peaceful childhood..I wish mine had been like that...BUT instead it was full of abuse and trauma that went on for yrs..and it continued well into my adult yrs HOWEVER that was then and this is now....These days life has its ups and downs but is good none the less..

I am sorry to hear about your childhood. Abuse is not a very nice thing even when it begins as early as your childhood. I hope it did not affect your adulthood and now you are being the nice person that I know you are.

ah yes, back when a kid could be a kid. I grew up across the road from a farm that had 3 blueberry fields. My neighbors kids were much younger than I but we played well together. We used to climb trees and go for long walks in the field and up the mountain behind us. We used to ride our bikes up one side of my driveway and down the other, across the road and around their driveway.
Picking blueberries to eat or wild strawberries or apples from the apple tree. In the winter there were snomen and snow angels.
Seems like so much has been lost over time.

My childhood is very happy overall because my parents always bring me to different places in our country. Also, we always visit my cousins and relatives when I was younger; I enjoy it so much.
